Have I no shame?

Birthdays abound this week, so to good ol’ ptown I go, just two weeks after I was last there. I haven’t been there this frequently since I lived there two years ago. I’m excited. I feel spoiled with the opportunity to see family and good friends so soon.

Of course I shall return to rain, when it shall be around 80 here this weekend. The joys of the Pacific Northwest.


Initially when I started doing this blog thing I anticipated funny stories shared about my girlfriends and myself, and the funny escapades we can find ourselves in at times. After having some of these episodes occur to me, and being basically the only contributor to this site, less the occasional interlude from The Pieman, I have found that as outspoken as I am about my life, there is something different about allowing the world to see it on their whim, without me editing the viewing list.

Some of my mama’s friends read this… heaven forbid she hears down the road similar stories/ reminders that she heard for a couple of years after I was on Blind Date and one of my mother’s friends saw. (Disclaimer- I didn’t sign up for it, it was a complete fluke. The girl scheduled to appear didn’t show up and they were supposed to start taping at the restaurant I worked at… so I was called off of work to do the show. Blah Blah Blah). I’m not concerned about my mama, as I share everything (probably too much) with her- so she knows the stories far before I sit at a keyboard.

The thought also has crossed my mind that some of those church-friends that I haven’t kept in contact with will yet again judge me and my life. Although, to be honest I don’t really give a fuck about anyone who shall judge me (let us remember “judge not” my friends…)

So having vented these random thoughts that occasionally stream through my mind… perhaps I’ll have something a bit more for you next time…
