Handful of fun

I met a friend of a friend, M, this weekend while I was wholly intoxicated. Apparently she loved me, and the other evening I had the chance to actually meet her when I went over to Dirty Sanchez’s for dinner and wine. M was fabulous and a good time was had (but, really, when do we not have a great time???) Yesterday Dirty called me and said that M had fun and we had a new member of the OC Girl fan club. She quickly corrected herself, “I mean the Handful Fan Club”.

I have been nicknamed Handful by some of Dirty’s friends… well because (esp after cocktails) that is exactly what I am. I’m funny… but you can’t be easily offended, have a weak stomach, or be judgmental… those personality traits and I just don’t work. I come on like a freight train, and I’ll have the time of my life (even if I don’t remember) doing it.

Now The Man doesn’t know this side of me, per se. He has seen me partying for months without me getting too out of control... or when I did he just didn’t know that it was going on. Thank God. So I am very cautious to not consume too much around him. Must be careful… lest I lose my future husband…

Having said that… I have found when trying to be good, it’s nearly impossible to do.
