Sunday Funday

I love a great weekend. This was definitely one of them.

Friday afternoon I met up with Tiki for a margarita. This of course turned into Shell meeting us, HT coming down and three pitchers of margaritas. By the last pitcher it was down to just Shell and me there, the entire jug o’ love looming before us. Knowing that we couldn’t make a dent in it without quite possibly hurling on the table, I asked (as I always do… to rejection) the waitress for a to-go cup for the margaritas. SHE SAID YES! I could have made out with her right there. So we packed up our food and fun-in-a-glass and headed home.

The next morning the cup o’ headache in the fridge was the last thing I wanted to see…

Still amazing that she let us.

Saturday was our poker party. So after an afternoon of slingin’ beans I went home got ready (read: cleaned my landfill of a room) and had our guests over. A great time was had. Some fabulous people were met, and I, even given the opportunity, was not – I repeat – not, a make-out bandit. I had the chance, but nope. I was a good girl. Of course had this guy I became interested in (TM) not arrived when he did, I would have most likely (read: absolutely would have) made out with Mr. Kissey Face (edited: Mr. Kissey Face later to be known as The Man). But alas, I couldn’t let the new boy du jour see me do such things.

I did let a drunk hair dresser cut my bangs on my dark terrace with paper-cutting scissors. Then got offered to be a hair model tomorrow. Free hair cut? Yeesssssss…

Sunday I awoke on top of my covers. Apparently when I “fell asleep” the thought of lifting up the blankets was too much to bear. I then cleaned the house. (I hate that) and went to celebrate Sunday Funday with
Beach Chic (I love that). We had the best day. Ever. A breakfast (at two in the afternoon) with six friends had tears running down my face and milkshake shooting out of my nose. We then went to the local beach bar and through the course of the following five hours had about thirty friends come by and we partied like the stars that we are (in our minds). It was absolutely fabulous!!!

Waking up this morning at 6am on Beach Chic’s couch, sun pouring through the windows, and no water to be found… not so fun, but SO worth it. I’d do it over and over again.

Beach Chic and I have talked a couple times today reiterating how much fun that was yesterday, and seriously near the top of my list of one of my most fun days. Ever.
