I didn’t even look at my blog yesterday… That was a first for me… I can generally be found hitting refresh several times throughout the day to ensure that I can count every comment possible (yes I realize I can have them emailed to me, but that takes away some of the excitement of the refresh button). I think I am learning to not be a slave to my blog. Who da thunk it?

I have several stories that have been started… or I have been mulling, yet nothing is pouring forth from my fingers… so here I type, feeling obligated to post something.

I shall merely post this, as it is Friday afternoon and no one will read it anyway.

I had a longtime friend ask me a couple months ago if he should have sex. We were both brought up in the same uber religious church, and he has followed the path of the righteous, whereas I have followed the treasure trail.


I told him that saving yourself until you are married was over-rated, and once that he had sex he would realize it wasn’t that big of a deal. I am surprised The Church hasn’t called me to lead their teen seminars.

He contacted me today and told me that he was so glad that he had spoken with me. I had convinced him that he really did need to wait until marriage… but I would be hearing from him prior to his wedding day.
