Ups and Downs *
Up: Roommate was gone all weekend.
Down: It poured down rain and the winds howled throughout the weekend evenings.
Up: Made sitting by the firelight that much better.
Down: Not as great as if he was here with me.
Up: I have rediscovered my love for tea this last week.
Down: I need to read the warning instructions and heed them much more closely in the future for certain teas.
Up: Le came over and stayed the night on Saturday night.
Down: She didn’t feel like being alone as her boyfriend had just broken up with her.
Up: I am one weekend closer to moving home
Down: I am still without a job or a place to live.
Down: My mother’s boyfriend (btw- I hate saying that, it sounds so… unsophisticated) called me and told me (although my mother had offered him to move my things up to Oregon) he will be unable to do so with his work schedule.
Down: I priced moving by myself. That will be (at least) $1200 and two driving trips (one with a moving van and one to bring my car up) that I wasn’t anticipating needing to take.
Up: It could prove to be one of the best road trips ever.
Down: I am unsure how I should transport my fish Sampson during a road trip.
Up: Yesterday while sitting on my couch in the living room, talking on my mobile I saw a whale out of my front window. Last year we would see whales and dolphins at least once every weekend, however yesterday was the first time this year I had seen one. I was stoked needless to say.
Down: How can there be too much of a down after something so cool?
Up: Only four more days until the weekend.
* Idea stolen from a friend… thanks…

Sampson should travel fine in 3/4-full glass in your cupholder. :-)
Been there. Done that. Just make sure you put him in the glass a week or so before leaving so he is used to his new digs.
Oh, and make sure you don't accidentally drink him in the middle of the night. ;-)

I love how you're already counting down to the weekend. Dude it's monday, but it's nice that you're optimistic like that.

You see dolphins and whales out your window. You live in frickin' Sea World!
Be careful with Sampson. I kept the container I bought Pablo in, and used that when I moved. But I only had a 30 minute drive. Still, it was bumpy.
And sitting by the fire with OC Girl sounds like the best idea in the entire world!

You should call your mom's boyfriend her lover instead. Now that's sophisticated.

brackyournameistoolong- Yes, Ups and Downs were great... thanks...
EB72- That’s a great idea. Do you think he will be ok for a couple of days?
Dr.- Thank you for that... ummmm... UPdate?
Heather- I gotta hold onto something. If I don't have the weekend, I have nothing!
Nih- Come on down!!! My roommate will be gone for the next two weekends, so you got nothing but time... bring your uber cute poochie!
Ms.Sizz- I see those poor whale boats every weekend and just feel so bad for the people on them... those whales have been chillin’ this year...
And road trip! Woo hoo! I might stop by… get ready!!!
Bone- Yes, Sea World indeed.
I am quite concerned about Sampson... after the near fatality incident after a drunken Thanksgiving water change... I am nervous...
Come on over... I have a fur throw with your name all over it.
Meanie- Ha! Yes, but I would have to say it in that SNL style, my mutha's luvah...
(ewww)
;-)
